How Do I Start Fetchmail at Boot?

How do I get fetchmail to start at boot time?

I found many websites, such as this one, that instructed a variation of:

Then put the following in /etc/init.d/fetchmail (new file)

*********************

#!/bin/sh
/usr/bin/fetchmail -f /etc/fetchmailrc &

*******************

I tried this, I tried just using /usr/bin/fetchmail -d 900, but no luck.

My configuration file is /root/.fetchmailrc, and includes set daemon 900.

The power seems to drop here about once a week, and I keep forgetting to restart the program after things start up. My wife gets upset when her mail stops.

Anyone have any suggestions?
